Built by The Wooden Boatshop in Sorrento in 2017, the Kooyong 28 Walkaround is a capable and versatile coastal boat designed for spending time on the water. Powered by twin 130 HP Yamaha outboards, she cruises comfortably at 15–20 knots. With a draft of 1'3", she can access shallow bays and sheltered beaches, making her well suited to cruising, fishing, diving and family days on the water. The walk-through transom provides easy step-aboard access while the cabin is fitted with a sink and toilet. The engines were last serviced in May 2025, and she presents in very tidy order.
Her epoxy-sheathed hull, polyurethane paint and teak decks combine traditional wooden boat construction with a durable, practical finish. Designed to be kept in The Wooden Boatshop’s dry stack over winter, she offers a straightforward approach to ownership, with maintenance and care provided by the team at WBS.
This vessel is a well-maintained example of the Kooyong 28, ready for her next owner to enjoy.
