Details
Camira is a solid, well cared for timber motor sailer with a lot of work done over the years. Designed by Ron Wright and built by Jack Clark, she’s a practical and comfortable cruising boat with real character.Built in Turpentine and Spotted Gum, glass sheathed, with a laid Teak deck and a warm Queensland Maple interior. The layout includes three cabins sleeping five, wheelhouse doors both sides, and good walkaround decks.
Powered by a Perkins Sabre 135hp diesel. She carries 900L of fuel and 1100L of water, with a Paguro 6.5kva generator (2022). Well set up with Simrad electronics, autopilot, AIS, VHF, and bow thruster. The galley has a Force 10 stove and good storage. Hot and cold water, refrigeration, electric toilet, and a tidy battery setup all make her easy to live aboard or cruise.
Ground tackle is serious, with a 28kg Ultra anchor, 100m of chain and Maxwell Nilsson windlass. There’s also a 3m dinghy on davits. Twin Oregon masts with steadying sails and a full set of covers. Currently at Martha Cove, VIC, with berth available. A genuine classic that’s ready to go and enjoy.
