Christela

Details

Designed to perfect proportions by notable British designer Fredrick Parker and built under his supervision at the Woodnutt Yard on the Isle of Wight in 1961 Christela is a 34’ wooden masthead sloop. She is carvel-built with Honduras mahogany on English Oak frames, splined and epoxy sheathed below the waterline. Christela is outfitted with a forward cabin and double berth, and is a capable oceangoing yacht, much suited to passage-making or cruising.

Over the years Chirstela made her way to Australia from the UK and has spent extended periods in both New South Wales and Queensland, as well as Victoria. Her current condition is very good, having been well maintained by her owner. She carries a Yanmar 30YM 30AE engine and Raymarine electronics. She comes with a small two-person tender. Storage options are available upon purchase if necessary. Her beam is 9’ and draft 5’9”.
